Olivia has a degree in Professional Writing with Media Studies from The University of Derby and joins from an event management and magazine publishing company where she was a marketing manager. She, therefore, has plenty of experience writing in different styles according to the topic and audience. She will be a great addition to the content team and will be helping to create digital content for clients, including writing blog posts, social media, and other marketing materials.
Allie Howland joins as a digital marketing apprentice gained a distinction in Level 3 Extended Diploma in Creative Media. She will begin by spending some time in each department to build her knowledge and understanding of development, creative, design, video production, and digital marketing and how they integrate as part of our overall project management process so that we maintain our high level of customer service and satisfaction. She will ultimately choose her preferred specialism and focus on this whilst completing her apprenticeship.
Commenting Allie said, “I really like the vibe at the company and think it will be a great place to develop my long-term career.”
Commenting on her new role, Olivia said, “I was ready for a new challenge in a larger, fast-paced environment, where I am able to hone in on my copywriting and marketing expertise. I’m really looking forward to working with a range of great brands and clients, alongside other talented and creative individuals.”
In her spare time, Olivia enjoys baking, making earrings, reading and has taken part in Race for Life. In 2020, she raised £230 for Macmillan Cancer Support by baking scones as part of their coffee morning – so we are really hoping some find their way to the Purpose Media cafe! Olivia also enjoys volunteering and has previously helped Hillfield Animal Home (RSPCA) with their marketing, including producing a seasonal newsletter for pet adopters and volunteers.
Meanwhile, Allie enjoys singing and playing the guitar as well as going to the gym, where she might also be found doing aerial hoop acrobatics!
